Aims and Research Directions: Geometric analysis is a hot topic around the world, in particular, after the succesful resolution of Poincare conjecture and Thurston's geometrization program via Ricci flow (a particular subject inside geometric analysis). The mini workshop will bring geometric analysts in different subjects together in Tokyo Tech to facilitate an occasion for the exchange of ideas between geometric analysts in Japan and the visiting Professor Xiuxiong Chen.
Speakers: 10:00-11:00 Xiuxiong Chen (Univ. of Wisconsin /Tokyo Tech) : Kaehler Ricci flow on Fano surfaces 11:15-12:15 Qing Chen (Univ. of Science and Technology of China) : Existence of Extremal Metrics on compact Surfaces with Boundary 14:00-15:00 Yuji Sano (Univ. of Tokyo, IPMU): Multiplier ideal sheaves and integral invariants on toric Fano manifolds 15:15-16:15 Nobuhiro Honda (Tokyo Tech): Minitwistor spaces of Joyce's self-dual metrics 16:30-17:30 Reiko Miyaoka (Tohoku Univ.): Geometry of G2 orbits and isoparametric hypersurfaces
